Hi there, my name is Nicole and I’m a blogger, photographer, and solopreneur based in a small logging community in SouthernOregon.
I have a big imagination and tend to get a lot of wild ideas. My biggest goal in life is to have a good time and help other people have a good time. Whether thats on a lavish vacation or doing my own stunts in my parents backyard, I want to live a life that resembles the movie Big Fish. You know the types of stories that are so wild they almost unbelievable.
I’m obsessed with doing things that most people don’t. I have zero interest in fitting in most of the time. This is probably because of the way I grew up. I come from a big family. There were 7 kids on my dads side, each one with a very different personalty and different interests. We used to get together every Sunday night at the local pizza parlor and for years I would hear about these wild stories from my Uncles. But not just that, the biggest influencing factor was how they romanticized having a good time and how inviting they were. It didn’t matter who you were or where you came from, they would invite you to come have a beer.
My dad was the youngest of the family and he was a gearhead. I’m the youngest child of his, so naturally I love cars and drag racing just as much. In the summer months, I have nearly every weekend booked hauling our ratrod around the state to different car shows. On weekends we aren’t doing that, you can find us on the lake with our jet skiis.
Aside from having a good time, I’m also very passionate about animals. I’m a huge animal advocate, even assisted with the initial development of a nonprofit organization providing veterinary services on a sliding scale.
Lastly, I should mention that I have ADHD. It took a long, tiring fight to get those 4 letters, but I did it. Periodically you will likely find articles related to that here as well. Also, if it ever feels like you jumped into a conversation half way through, I probably forgot to explain my line of thinking. Please let me know so I can fix it. Thanks!
